The home was originally built by Frazier Peters for himself, located in the Tokeneke area of Darien. This handsome house was built to be lived in. It had been added on to over the years by Peters and then many others over time, resulting in a sprawling, in-cohesive floor plan. Evidence of this home being a testing ground for scale, proportion and volume made it a challenging remodel. RAC wanted to respect the original architecture but it was truly buried under many layers of changes and revisions both inside and out. The views from the Great Room over the pool and rolling lawn take you directly to the edge of Scott’s Cove Lagoon. The new owners wanted to keep the soft comfortable nature of the existing house while giving it some curb appeal and presence.
