With 3D rendering technology, we have the ability to visualize numerous design options before construction even begins. This allows us to investigate several different massing options and materiality decisions with the client so they can make the best informed choice. With realistic rendering techniques, the client can truly visualize the new home on the property.
This client came to us looking to purchase the neighboring house with a non-conforming boathouse that was over the setbacks and within the flood zone. Maintaining their home on the neighboring property as their main estate, they wanted to renovate this structure into a party barn for entertainment purposes. By lifting the existing non-conforming boathouse and adding a modern bridge connector to the proposed party barn, we were able to increase the finished area of the structure without having a detached building.
