This project began in 2007 when a previous client purchased this property in the Aquidneck Club found in Portsmouth Rhode Island and hired our firm to design their custom home. Subsequently, the property was sold(the last of the waterfront lots), and the new owners loved the design. We were honored to have the opportunity to fine-tune the original design, resulting in a stunning Narragansett Bay shingle-style home designed to take full advantage of the breathtaking views of the bay. The house exudes a sense of serenity and grandeur, finding balance in its details with hip roofs, expansive glass, and stone accents that soften its exterior. The cupola, symmetry, and intrinsic size of the house dignify the design. The back of the home is designed for leisure with a spacious covered porch, a massive folding pocket door, and an infinity-edge pool.
